ColliderFest

A festival celebrating science and art, Colliderfest evolved from the Hull Science Festival focuses on engaging families, primary school children, and youth groups exploring the intersections of science, arts and culture. Highlighting the region’s achievements in science, technology and innovation, the festival delivers audience-focused content with scientific credibility and rigor. Fostering a lifelong interest in science and broadening participation in STEM education, Colliderfest seeks to inspire, entertain and inform attendees.

Challenge

Focusing on engaging families, primary school children and youth groups, the festival plans to distribute over 35,000 free tickets for shows, workshops and hands-on activities. The client requested a website to be designed and developed for the event including an events booking page for activities of the festival.

SOLUTION

We began by designing a simple layout with user-friendly accessibility (populated with content that the client had requested) where website’s simplicity ensures users can easily navigate.   The event website featured a range of tickets for various sessions, along with a precise schedule for each session, including drop-in options. Additionally, we sent a mass email to those who had pre-registered on the website, informing them about the ticket sale.
